Camera
This includes the type of shot, e.g. high angle/no movement or low angle w/camera shake. Also the depth of field is important in this section, which is whether the whole shot is in focus of not.
Mise-en-Scene
This refers to everything in the scene, from the costume to the setting. The scene is extremely important; it sets the scene and creates a certain mood in the music video. As well as on location shots, a green can be used.
Sound/Editing
Editing and Sound are very important when trying to create the right pace and feel for a music video. For a music video, the only sounds will be the song itself, unless there is a scene before/in between/after the song.
Narrative/Performance
The music video will either be a performance or narrative based video, or both. An indie rock video is generally either so I may incorporate both into my video.
