To properly immerse myself in the genre of Indie Rock, I researched into some key features of the genre, such as clothing and colour. I have also featured some music videos in this post to analyse the attitude of the band and the live presence of the front man or the techniques used by the other musicians.
Research Into Music Genre
A subgenre of alternative rock, Indie (meaning Independent) has become a very popular genre in both he mainstream and the underground music culture. The usual relaxed attitude of most indie bands makes the bands of the genre seem very down to earth and relatable. I thhink I have chosen well to do a indie rock music video, because indie rockers have been very experimental with their music video ideas. This means that I do not eed to create a generic music video.
